Job Details:

The Mercer University Athletics department is searching for a Head Women's Volleyball Coach.

Responsibilities :

The Head Women's Volleyball Coach is responsible for conducting the overall program while abiding by departmental and University policy. Duties include coaching and teaching, recruiting, scheduling, purchasing of equipment, budget management, monitoring of student-athlete’s academic progress and compliance with NCAA and Southern conference rules and regulations. The Head Coach is responsible for promoting alumni, donor, and community relationships. This position will assist in fundraising efforts for their sport and overall department.

Qualifications :

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and prior Division I coach experience are required. Additionally candidates must have working knowledge of NCAA and Southern Conference rules in relation to women's volleyball; knowledge of sport specific software used in player and team development; and good verbal and written communication skills.

Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by the university's carrier as this position requires travel.
