Position Summary Information
| Position Purpose |
The Department of Athletics at Bloomsburg invites applications for a Head Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach (part-time, 75%), who possesses the coaching expertise and organizational skills needed to work with all aspects of a successful NCAA Division II Athletics program. Anticipated start date is August 9, 2025.
Bloomsburg is an NCAA Division II Institution with 23 varsity sports programs (wrestling is an NCAA Division I program), as part of Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania.

| Description of Duties |
This is a part-time, 75% temporary position which requires the organization and supervision of various aspects of the men’s and women’s golf programs with an emphasis on recruitment of qualified student-athletes with a commitment to academic success, ability to relate to student-athletes, compliance with NCAA, PSAC, and Bloomsburg rules and regulations, scheduling, CPR certification, practice and game planning, strength and conditioning, scouting, budget management, fundraising, community engagement, camps and clinics, and other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director, to include but not limited to operations, events, and special program design and coverage.

| Supervisory Responsibility |
The Head Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach may oversee work student students and volunteer coaches.

| Minimum Requirements Profile |
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Applicants must have a minimum of one year of coaching as a Head or Assistant Coach at the intercollegiate or high school level.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population is preferred.

| Background Clearances |
Offers of employment are conditional, pending successful completion of the background clearances mandated by Act 153 of 2014 and Board of Governors Policy 2014-01-A: Protection of Minors. In order to qualify for a provisional appointment, the Applicant Acknowledgement Consent Form, Provisional Hire Form, Pennsylvania State Police and Justifacts portion of the clearance process must be successfully completed prior to your start date. The remaining PA Child Abuse History Clearance and FBI Clearance must be successfully completed and returned as soon as possible within the first 90 days of employment.
