Franklin Pierce University is seeking an eager, dynamic, and committed Head Coach for the Men's Ice Hockey Ravens 2025-2026 team. The Coach will build upon a strong finish to our prior season and is expected to strengthen the Pierce community's substantial Ravens athletics program. We're looking for a skilled ice hockey coach who embraces challenges and is looking to build something important, all while helping to change the lives of our student athletes.

The head coach will direct the development, organization and management of all phases of our Division II men’s ice hockey program. Primarily responsible for the instruction of athletes both on and off the ice and in the classroom, organization, administration, coaching and recruitment. Candidates must possess a strong commitment to the academic mission of the University and to a competitive NCAA Division II Athletics Program.

Effectively work with staff members in the areas of compliance, student development, external operations, facility/operations, equipment operations, internal operations, and athletic development. Comply with all NCAA, Northeast-10, university and divisional rules and policies.
Serve as role-model and advisor for student-athletes in a general capacity. Connect student-athletes to necessary resources within and outside of Franklin Pierce Athletics, as needed. Provide a support system to all student-athletes on the team.

Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree and 3-4 years of coaching ice hockey, preferably at the collegiate level is highly desirable. The ability to motivate recruits, student-athletes and alumni to support the program enthusiastically. Working knowledge and compliance of NCAA/NE-10 league policies and procedures. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel with the team or when recruiting as required. Valid driver’s license required.
