The Men’s Soccer Head Coach is responsible for the overall administration and success of the Men’s Soccer Program. The primary purpose is to recruit student-athletes, schedule opponents, organize conditioning, plan practices and administer team rules and regulations for the Men’s Soccer program. | | Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience |
Requires a bachelor’s degree and 5 or more years of experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience. | | Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials |
Good driving record, valid driver’s license, and successful background check are required. | | Preferred Qualifications |
Bachelor’s degree and 5 year’s of college coaching and/or playing experience. Preferred includes knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. | | Knowledge/Skills/Abilities |

Recruiting- This function serves as the primary means to establish a competitive team. The coach needs to be knowledgeable of all Big South Conference and NCAA rules and regulations and USC Upstate admission requirements.
