Duration: Academic year (10-month obligation)

Brief Description of Duties:

SUNY Morrisville seeks candidates for the full-time position of Head Coach of Men's Soccer.Coaching duties include management of the college's NCAA Division III Men's Soccer team including recruitment and retention of team members, practice and game preparation, scheduling, and travel needs. The position is responsible for the hiring and supervision of an assistant coach in the program. The position will have a secondary duty outside of coaching in the athletic department which will help with the day-to-day operations or game-day management for the department.

SUNY Morrisville competes in the State University of New York Athletic Conference.SUNY Morrisville is seeking candidates who have a demonstrated commitment to providing leadership in building equitable, diverse, and inclusive environments.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Management of the college's NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Team
• Recruitment and retention of team members
• Practice and game preparation, scheduling, and travel needs
• Hiring and supervision of Assistant Men's Soccer Coach
• Day-to-day operations and game-day management support for Athletic Department

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Strong knowledge and understanding of NCAA Soccer rules and regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous NCAA coaching experience
• Familiarity with New York and regional recruiting
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
