Responsibilities:
Administer all phases of the NCAA Division I volleyball program. Duties include but are not limited to:
• Ensuring a quality coaching philosophy and strategy
• Budget management
• Recruitment
• Program administration of student-athletes
• Scheduling, team organization, and staff supervision
• Ordering and maintaining equipment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Demonstrated expertise in planning and directing a collegiate-level
volleyball at the Division I level.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in monitoring student athletes academic
progress, retention, and graduation.
• Experience managing Volleyball Camps.
• Knowledge of NCAA and NEC rules and regulations
• Knowledge of and use of video/statistical software and computers.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow proper department and professional protocol as directed by
sport administrator.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with students, faculty,
administration, alumni, and the general public.
• Skilled in operation of computer and related software.
Physical Demands:
• May require extended periods of standing, bending, stooping, sitting at
desk.
• May require lifting.
• Requires communication with a variety of constituents externally and
internally.
• Requires operation of a variety of office equipment.
