Responsibilities

The Head of Sports Performance hires and supervises assistant coaches, oversees performance, strength, and conditioning plans, evaluates student-athlete performance metrics, manages program expenditures responsibly, maintains relationships internally and externally, and provides leadership in marketing, fundraising, and revenue generation efforts.

  • Hires and supervises assistant coaches.

  • Evaluates student-athlete performance and tracks performance metrics.
  • Cultivates and maintains effective relations with students, parents, faculty, staff, media, and friends of the University.
  • Plays a leadership role in marketing, fundraising, and revenue generation for the program, department, and University.
  • As a leader, demonstrates a commitment to student success that is mission aligned with the university’s vision, values and priorities. Establishes an ethical and collegial work environment, promoting a collaborative, accountable and inclusive team. Encourages a courageous and resilient solution-oriented environment by participating in new opportunities to further the mission of the university.
