Leadership, operation, and management of the
MSUM
Softball Program in accordance with University, Conference and
NCAA
rules, regulations, and policies.
Duties include but are not limited to: Scheduling, recruiting, practice planning/organizing, budgeting, supervising assistants, public relations, departmental fundraising, and camps.
Teach Courses in the Health and Physical Education Department
Engage in service to the University and community.
Support Minnesota State University Moorhead’s strategic priority of creating a campus community that is diverse, inclusive, globally aware, and just.
Other Administrative duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in related field
Minimum 2 years of college coaching or 5 years High School or club coaching within the past 8 years with proven record of success.
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and support student-athletes athletically, academically, and socially.
Demonstrated ability to teach physical education skills course and or basic health courses.
Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated success working with student of diverse backgrounds including sensitivity to their needs and concerns
