Position Overview

Position Summary:
Under general supervision, the Head Stunt Coach is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a newly created NCAA Division II women’s stunt program, including the development, coaching, and management of all aspects of the program. This includes leading practices, strategizing for competition, promoting the student-athlete experience, and fostering a positive and competitive team culture. The Head Stunt Coach will recruit, train, and evaluate student-athletes, monitor student-athletes’ academic achievement, and ensure compliance with all NCAA, conference, and university policies. Additionally, the Head Stunt Coach will collaborate with other staff and departments to enhance the overall success of the program, provide guidance and mentorship to athletes, and build strong relationships with the community.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for game operations for on-campus stunt competitions.
  • Recruiting and coaching of student-athletes
  • Monitoring student-athletes’ academic achievement
  • Managing budget
  • Coordinating travel arrangements for team competition
  • Directing stunt camps
  • Fund-Raising (Departmental and Program specific)
  • Program planning and forecasting
