Position Summary Information

Responsibilities

Responsible for direction, oversight, and leadership of the entire women’s soccer program, approximately 30 female student-athletes and two graduate assistants. Fully responsible for the ongoing operation and development of the program including but not limited to: teaching, coaching, and strategy; administrative duties; recruiting qualified student-athletes; coordinating prospect visits; off-campus recruiting; developing and implementing practice plans; committing to player strength and skill development; monitoring academic progress and success; working closely with university admissions and student success center; abiding by University, GSC, and NCAA rules and compliance. Must have effective communication, leadership, and organization skills and foster positive student-athlete, campus, community, alumni, and athletic department relations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred. It is preferred that the qualified candidate have playing and coaching experience at the collegiate level.
