The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for four .75 Interns to help support the Florida Football coaching staff with recruiting communications, inputting data regarding recruiting visits, and assisting with the operations of setting up for visits. These positions shadow the On-Campus Recruiting Coordinator and the Director of Recruiting Operations. These positions require the incumbents to have strong interpersonal skills; be able to learn, retain, and present information to recruits in an accurate manner; be able to demonstrate good judgement and anticipate the needs of the department; be able to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds; and be able to work a non-standard work week, which may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays. These are time-limited positions with an option for a second year if essential criteria is met. This posting will remain open until a qualified candidate is chosen.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree Knowledgeable of social media platforms including but not limited to X, Instagram, and Facebook Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) Experience in an intercollegiate athletics program *Please note: Additional on the job training will be provided to candidates who meet the minimum qualifications for this position. Please note this is a non-coaching position.
