UCF Athletics at the University of Central Florida, an NCAA Division I institution and Big XII Conference member, is seeking applications for the position of InternAthletic Trainer.

Duties:

In an internship type capacity, the selected candidate will assist the Sports Medicine staff in the coordination of day-to-day sports medicine operations for Division I athletic teams. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: coordination of injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of student-athletes for football and women's track & field / cross country; preceptor duties within UCF's Athletic Training Education Program, and teaching opportunities within UCF's Athletic Training Education Program. Due to the nature/scope of Athletics and Athletics events, position may require work on evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications: Master's degree in athletic training; or a bachelor degree in athletic training and two years appropriate experience. Possession of or eligibility for NATABOC, CPR/AED-PR, and State of Florida Athletic Training License required. As a UCF Athletics staff member, the selected candidate will be a person of integrity and character who shares a commitment for knowing and complying with NCAA, Conference, and institutional rules as they apply to the UCF Athletics program.

This is an entry level position. Cover letter, resume, and three professional references will be accepted until the position is filled.

Notes: the person selected for this position will be employed by UCF Athletics, which is a Direct Support Organization (DSO) of the University of Central Florida.
