The University of Colorado encourages applications for the Licensed Athletic Clinician! The Athletic Clinician of Psychological Health and Performance (PHP) will assist the PHP Team in the delivery of general psychological services (evaluation, treatment and education) to student-athletes competing for a highly competitive, Division I athletics program. Additionally, the individual in this role will provide consultation and relevant training to coaches, athletic trainers, academic staff, other athletic department staff and student-athletes within the realm of psychological services and mental performance.
The Athletics Clinician will have demonstrated commitment, skills and experience in diversity and inclusion programming and clinical expertise in working with traditionally underserved or marginalized populations.
The successful candidate will be diligent, an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, and extensive experience working within an agency team. The ability to navigate complex systems while maintaining confidentiality and composure under pressure is necessary in this role.
