Salary : $70,000.00 Annually.

This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code §51.215, which authorizes the employer to obtain criminal history record information. A valid driver’s license issued by the State where the applicant resides and insurability as defined in UTS 157 may be required to perform the position's essential functions.
Develops and grows effective relationships with UTEP Athletics constituents both internally and externally while securing donor support through lead and major gifts.
Ethics : Employee will demonstrate high personal and professional standards. Employee will contribute to the development of a work environment based on trust, respect, and dignity. Employee will abide by the Code of Ethics of the University of Texas at El Paso and The University of Texas System.
Internal Control : Employee will practice sound work habits as they relate to internal control responsibilities.
Essential Functions
Assist in the planning and executing of all revenue generating efforts for UTEP Athletics.
Build relationships and educate donors and other constituents of UTEP Athletics on current fundraising initiatives and priorities.
Solicit lead and major gifts
Manage a portfolio of donors through cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship efforts while actively qualifying new donor prospects.
Under the direction of the Associate Athletics Director for Development and Deputy Athletic Director for Revenue Generation, meet agreed upon metric for number of visits, proposals submitted, and gifts closed.
Facilitate NIL opportunities for UTEP student-athletes through the education of donors, local businesses and the El Paso community.
Serve as a key member of the Miner Athletic Club team, participating in fundraising and intercollegiate athletics events.
Work closely with the Director of Stewardship and Events to properly and effectively steward UTEP Athletics donors.
Stay current on NCAA legislation as it relates to compliance, Title IX, and rule changes.
Additional duties as assigned.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Knowledge of computerized fundraising and ticketing systems.
Public relations and promotion skills.
Knowledge of NCAA Rules and Regulations.
Understanding of Gender Equity and Title IX as they relate to Intercollegiate Athletics.
Detailed understanding of athletic fundraising, NCAA Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) landscape.
