What We Want
The Manager is responsible for the oversight of TAMU Athletics Former Student Athlete and TAMU Community relations and will seek to engage former athletes in a mutually beneficial lifelong relationship with the university. This role will also support initiatives that engage with the TAMU campus and local community.

_ Responsibilities _
EVENT PLANNING** :** Oversees all aspects of event planning including game day functions, reunions, Hall of Fame banquet, regional events and other events as needed.
PUBLIC RELATIONS: Maintain positive relations with the public and Athletic Department on behalf of the Texas A&M Lettermen’s Association. Act as liaison to all former athletes, providing high level of customer service to all members and prospective members. Work within TAMU Athletics Executive Staff in a leadership role with Texas A&M Athletics to support special projects.
LETTERMEN'S ASSOCIATION: Manage and help implement short and long-range initiatives in support of membership growth and facility improvement within the Lettermen’s Association. Works directly with the Lettermen’s Board of Directors to develop resources, cultivate sponsorships and promote gifts to the Texas A&M Lettermen’s Association. Supervises student workers and 1 full-time staff.
BUDGET: Works with Athletics and TAMU Lettermen’s Association Board members on budget management and development. Responsible for creating and presenting accurate and orderly financial records. Oversee facilitation payment of all expenses, payroll, and timely deposit of all income. Present financial reports at regular Lettermen’s Association Board of Directors meetings.
SPORTS MEMORABILIA: Assist in curating all Texas A&M Memorabilia.
COMPLIANCE: Compliance is a shared responsibility. Maintains continual and thorough familiarity with all applicable NCAA, Conference, and University rules and regulations. Establishes and ensures communication and enforcement of rules and regulations for all staff members and student workers supervised. Maintains awareness of and supports the initiatives of the Athletics Department.

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five years of athletic administration experience.
