Summary of Job Duties: The Manager of Alumni and High School Relations is responsible for building, managing, and sustaining strategic relationships between the University of Arkansas Athletics Department, alumni, and high school coaches, administrators, and key stakeholders. This position plays a critical role in strengthening the Razorback brand, supporting recruiting efforts through relationship management, and enhancing alumni engagement through coordinated outreach, communication, and events. Strong communication, networking, and organizational skills are essential to fostering positive relationships and promoting the program’s brand at the high school level.
Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning
Demonstrated experience in alumni relations, athletic administration, external relations, recruiting support, or a related field
Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
Knowledge of intercollegiate athletics and high school athletic environments
Three or more years of NCAA Division 1 college coaching experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Former Arkansas Razorback Football Player
Experience planning and executing events or engagement programs for football
High School head coaching experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of NCAA & SEC rules and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to Multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse group of students and coaches
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required
