Manager of Marketing and Fan Experience
The Manager of Marketing and Fan Experience will work directly with the Athletic Director, Director of Corporate Sponsorships, Business Management Analyst, and Manager of Facilities and Events on the long-range marketing and sales efforts of the athletic department. Manager of Marketing and Fan Experience
The Manager of Marketing and Fan Experience will work directly with the Athletic Director, Director of Corporate Sponsorships, Business Management Analyst, and Manager of Facilities and Events on the long-range marketing and sales efforts of the athletic department. Division II athletic programs. This individual will be a liaison to the

Communication and Marketing Department. Exhibiting behavior that enhances respect for student-athletes, the athletics program, the University, and yourself in the conduct of your professional responsibilities will be expected. This individual is required to assist in the direction and control of athletics in accordance with

, and University rules and regulations. Responsible for all aspects related to season tickets, online ticketing transactions, tailgating, ticket staff, and home athletic events, including post season events hosted by
UNK
Athletics.
Work in collaboration with the Director of Corporate Sponsorships and the Manager of Facilities and Events and for all sponsor agreements. Work closely with the Director of Corporate Sponsorships to ensure the fulfillment of all sponsorship contracts of signage, PA announcements, game promotions, logo recognition, and other details of game presentation. Plan and execute as corporate sponsor fulfillments to include hospitality room, corporate sponsor nights, theme nights, etc. Assist in the negotiation of contract agreements. Help identify potential sponsors;
Oversee game day promotions; assist with game day promotional events including music and in-game entertainment and serve as a liaison to university student organizations for involvement and promotion of our “Loper Herd” student section. Serve as the liaison to the
UNK
Band, Cheer and Dance teams to coordinate their involvement in
UNK
Athletic events.;
All aspects related to ticketing including but not limited to; season tickets, online ticket sales, process all ticket requests and orders, assist with deposits of revenue; coordinate ticket staff – preparation, oversight and support at home athletic events; maintain ticketing equipment and supplies, communicate with coaches, staff and student athletes regarding complimentary tickets; enforce
NCAA
rules and regulations in relation to tickets;
Coordinate with the Manager of Events and Operations in the development of public address scripts for home events. Work with Assistant Athletic Director – Media Relations and University Communications to coordinate team rosters for home athletic events;
Identify marketing and promotion avenues for athletic facilities; including but not limited to the Health and Sports Center, Cope Stadium, and future projects;
Supervise Promotion, Marketing and Ticketing Graduate Assistant and Interns
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Business Administration or related field. Two (2) years’ of relevant marketing and ticketing experience. Excellent communication skills both written and oral, organization and interpersonal skills required. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within Intercollegiate Athletics,

Business and Finance, The University of Nebraska Foundation,
UNK
Alumni Association, the University, faculty, alumni, boosters and the general public to maintain strong relationships to drive the marketing strategy off the Athletic Department. Ability to work nights and weekends.
Master’s Degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Business Administration for related field.
