Job Summary/Basic Function
Shepherd University is seeking an individual to serve as a Federal Work Study as a Sports Operation Student Assistant (Men’s Soccer). The successful candidate will assist the Men’s Soccer team in various tasks during the Fall Semester and works in compliance with NCAA bylaws.
Minimum Qualifications
- Federal Work Study Eligible
- Currently enrolled at Shepherd University
Game Day Management
- locker room set-up
- field set-up
- camera/live stream set -up
Help with office tasks as needed.
- team laundry
- prep for away matches
Attend training sessions as needed.
- Camera set-up
- Session set-up
- Session take dawn
Performs other related duties are required as directed
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work all Men’s home soccer games
- Ability to work select training sessions as needed.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed (includes weekends)
- Preferred background in athletics.
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to solve problems independently
