The University of Notre Dame Football Program is seeking a motivated and passionate Football Nutrition Temp Worker to support the performance nutrition needs of our student-athletes during the summer months from end of May-August 24th. This role offers hands-on experience in sports nutrition and food service and is ideal for those looking to gain valuable experience in a collegiate athletic setting.

The University of Notre Dame Football Program is seeking a motivated and passionate Football Nutrition Temp Worker to support the performance nutrition needs of our student-athletes during the summer months from end of May-August 24th. This role offers hands-on experience in sports nutrition and food service and is ideal for those looking to gain valuable experience in a collegiate athletic setting.
This is not a benefited position.
Key Responsibilities:
● Assist in the setup and management of food, hydration, and recovery nutrition for practices and training sessions.
● Oversee the receiving, organization, distribution, and cleanup of snacks, smoothies, and meals for football student-athletes.
● Ensure fueling stations, storage areas, and player lounge nutrition spaces remain clean, organized, and well-stocked.
● Support inventory management by accurately tracking supplies and recording waste logs.
● Strong communication skills and professionalism
● Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
● Knowledge of food safety standards and previous experience in foodservice
● Open availability required – 25-40 hours per week.
● Ability to work June 1st-August 24th including shifts outlined below.
Physical Requirements:
● Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
● Ability to stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
Some experience in a sports nutrition related field is preferable. Some experience in a food service related field is preferable.
