| Position Overview |
This position plays a critical role in the development of the student-athletes and the success of the men’s lacrosse program. The offensive coordinator will develop, implement and manage the strategies used on the offensive side of the ball. Additionally, this position will work with student-athletes individually to improve offensive skills, and teach strategies to ensure effective implementation during games. Another critical role for this position is coaching the goalie’s position on the field. This includes individual development, practice and in-game coaching. This individual will also serve a key role to individuals that can be successful at Marquette academically but also will be beneficial to ensuring the success of the team on the defensive side.

| Duties and Responsibilities |
1. Offensive Coordinator: development, implementation (through use of video and practice sessions), and management (in-game coaching) strategies to be used on the offensive side of the ball that will result in success for the team.
Serve as liaison to Athletic Training (Sports Medicine) and Strength and Conditioning (Sports Performance) staff to ensure that student-athletes are not only getting stronger and faster but also staying healthy. Will work with Sports Medicine to monitor and build a plan for the return of injured players to the field of play.
Goalies coach. Oversee the skills development, game management and in-game coaching for the goalie’s position.
Scouting Assistant. Assist the Scouting Director and Head Coach with scouting opponents (with use of video) and implementation of game plan developed.
Director of camp and prospect day. Lead and manage camps and clinics held throughout the year for youth and high schoolers. Organize and oversee prospect day for high school recruits that attend the event to ensure that men’s lacrosse and Marquette University are showcased at the highest level.

| Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities |
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 4 years of related work experience including demonstrated successful coaching experience and 3 years of playing Division 1 lacrosse required
Strong knowledge and experience with a high level of men’s lacrosse and the ability to evaluate talent and recruit student-athletes that can be successful at Marquette.

Previous experience playing or working in Division 1 lacrosse and playing professional preferred.
