Seattle Pacific University's Department of Athletics is seeking a highly organized and service-oriented Office Manager to provide essential administrative, financial, and operational support to our Athletic Director, coaching staff, and departmental programs. This position is the hub of the athletic office ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while also coordinating events, fan engagement efforts, and financial processes that help our Falcons soar.
What will you do?
As the Office Manager, you will:
Serve as the primary administrative support for the athletic office, answering inquiries, coordinating calendars, and managing office functions.
Assist with special event logistics such as the Athletic Awards Banquet, Hall of Fame ceremony, and postseason tournaments.
Handle team gear orders, promotional materials, and office coverage schedules.
Coordinate with campus and external partners for marketing, sponsorship, and community engagement.
Process invoices, track ticket sales and sponsorship revenue, manage payment logs, and support annual reporting including NCAA and EADA submissions.
Liaise with travel partners (including Alaska Airlines) to arrange flights for athletic team travel.
Supervise student assistants and support athletics staff in managing financial paperwork and reporting needs.

Requirements:
What will you bring?
We're looking for someone with:
A Bachelor's degree.
At least one year of experience in a college athletics office or similar environment.
A valid driver's license.
Strong communication, multitasking, and technology skills (Microsoft Office Suite essential).
A maturing and contagious Christian faith, enthusiasm about supporting SPU's mission, alignment with the University's Statement of Faith, and willingness to accept the lifestyle standards of the Christian community.
Preferred qualifications include:
A Master's degree and/or formal training in athletics administration.
Familiarity with EMS (Event Management Software), JumpForward, and Square ticketing systems.

This is a full time position with excellent benefits. SPU pays the employee premium for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
