Summary of Job Duties: The On Campus Recruiting Assistant will assist all football coaches in the area of recruitment, facilitate official and unofficial visit on campus visits for prospects, and have oversight of recruiting specialists. In addition, this position will assist with the relationship between Arkansas Football and high school coaches and alumni.
Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning
At least one year of experience within a collegiate football program at Division I level and/or NFL experience (hourly and graduate assistantships are applicable)
At least one year of experience in football recruitment
Demonstrated working knowledge of Intercollegiate Athletics
Demonstrated working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in SEC and/or Power Five conference
Football summer camp experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of football recruiting process
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
Strong organizational and administrative abilities
Additional Information:
This position is renewable annually based on continued need for the position, availability of funding, and satisfactory job performance.
