Job Summary

Under direction of the Senior Associate Athletics Director, serve as the On Site Event Coordinator for set-ups and events associated with Intercollegiate Athletics facilities. Coordinate on-site facility related aspects of events including technical requirements, manage capacity and crowd control, security, ticketing, parking and catering. Lead and direct student staff before, during and after events. Administer university and state policies/codes for internal and external event clients. Perform as AV Technician as needed on events.

Preferred Qualifications

•    Experience working with culturally diverse workforce and constituency. 
•    Experience in managing events, such as sporting events, lectures, performances, conferences and banquets. 
•    Experience coordinating event components such as catering, parking, ticketing, and crowd and capacity control. 
•    Leadership/supervisory experience to train, assign, and supervise work of student employees

Work Environment

•    UC Davis is a smoke and tobacco free campus effective January 1, 2014.
