POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for a qualified Public Address Announcer. This position will be responsible for articulating public address announcements at assigned sports events. In order to enhance our fans overall gameday experience at a Florida Gators Athletic event, the Public Address Announcer must deliver an impactful performance while using inflection & knowledge of the assigned sport.  This posting will be open until a qualified candidate has been selected.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Required Qualifications: 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED (General Education Development) The ability to read and articulate clearly what is being read Ability to utilize inflection & voice level changes to enhance the gameday experience The ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds Working a non-standard work week which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays Preferred Qualifications: Previous Live Read, Public Address, or Radio experience *Please submit links to examples of your work.
