Part-Time Assistant Baseball Coach

The University of Evansville, a member of the Missouri Valley Conference, invites applications for the position of Part-Time Assistant Baseball Coach. This position will support the baseball program in all aspects of operating a competitive NCAA Division I program.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the recruitment and retention of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes.
• Develop strong relationships with student-athletes, faculty, staff, and the broader UE community.
• Coordinate film exchange, video editing, and statistical analysis.
• Assist with practice planning, game-day coaching, and player development.
• Support travel logistics and other operational aspects of team management.
• Aid in the planning and execution of camps, clinics, and community service activities.
• Contribute to the program’s marketing, promotions, and social media efforts.
• Help ensure adherence to University, NCAA, and Missouri Valley Conference regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

Qualifications

• College and/or professional playing or coaching experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of baseball fundamentals and rules.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with coaching staff, student-athletes, and administrative departments.
• Must possess or be able to obtain current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Availability for evening, weekend, and travel commitments as required.
