Position Details

The Athletic Department at The University of Tampa has an opening for a Part-time Assistant Coach, Crew. This position will assist with recruiting, scheduling and other duties as noted.

Responsibilities

1. Recruit males for rowing program.
   
2. Assist with team scheduling and player evaluation.
   
3. Responsible for monitoring student academics, weight training, conditioning.
   
4. Organize team travel.
   

5. Responsible for fund raising.

6. Contribute to a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures and backgrounds.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree preferred.
   
2. Rowing Experience preferred.
   

3. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, establish priorities and manage time wisely.

4. Knowledge of or the ability to learn quickly The University of Tampa software programs such as Workday and Microsoft Office.

5. Willingness to embrace new technologies and innovative organizational practices.

Work Schedule

Part-time schedule may not exceed 29 hours per week, 1000 hours per year.
