Job Description

Title: Part-time Assistant Football Coach

Description: The Assistant Football Coach is responsible for on-field coaching for the fall traditional season and spring non-traditional season with other duties as assigned by the head coaches and/or director of athletics. Position responsibilities must be completed in accordance with the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, College, Empire 8, NCAA, and other related association rules and regulations.

Responsibilities: - On-field coaching for the fall traditional season and spring non-traditional season - Additional duties as assigned by the head coaches and/or Director of Athletics - Participation in significant campus activities including Welcome Weekend, True Blue Weekend, and Commencement Weekend - Expected to comply with all applicable College, Federal, State, local , NCAA, Empire 8 Conference, rules and associational regulations - As a representative of the College, expected to comport oneself in a professional manner at all times, both on and off campus

Qualifications: Minimum requirements for this position are a Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) from an accredited college or university, with playing and/or coaching experience preferred.

The successful candidate will demonstrate effective teaching methods and possess excellent leadership, role modeling, organizational and interpersonal skills, and must have a thorough understanding and working knowledge of NCAA Division III rules and regulations. Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable through the College.

Wage Range: $16.00 per hour
