Position Details
The University of Tampa Athletic Department has a position available for an Athletic Communications Creative Content Assistant (hourly position, no benefits) to assist with duties associated with a NCAA Division II 20-team athletic program. This position will assist and report to the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications.
Responsibilities
1. Work with director to oversee department and team Instagram and social media accounts.
2. Work with Social Media Manager to serve as primary managers for Instagram content.
3. Maintain calendar for Instagram, X and other social media channels and ensure posts adhere to the calendar.
4. Assist in establishing and enforcing policy for posting to social media.
5. Act as the primary creative content producer for social media.
6. Ensure that content is being pushed out across all accounts.
7. Work with video team to get clips for Instagram, X, final scores for events.
Identify and locate accounts for collaboration to help grow accounts.
Contribute to a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures and backgrounds.

Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree.
2. Must be knowledgeable in sports offered at UT and have basic knowledge in computer programs.
3. Ability to work in fast-paced environment and nights, weekends and holidays.
4. Savvy/experience with social media (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, Snapchat).
5. Knowledge of or the ability to learn quickly The University of Tampa software programs such as Workday and Adobe Creative Suite.
6. Willingness to embrace new technologies and innovative organizational practices.

Pay Rate
$20 per hour
Work Schedule
Part-time work schedule not to exceed 29 hours per week/1000 hours per year.
Nights, weekends and holidays required as needed.
