Description

Reporting to the Head Men’s Basketball Coach and Head’s Women Basketball Coach, the Part-Time Coordinator of Player Development is responsible for preparing student-athlete for personal, academic and athletic development success. All staff members are responsible for complying with the policies and procedures set forth by Hofstra University, the Coastal Athletic Association, the NCAA and the job requirements specific to the particular assignments inherent to athletic administration.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Organizes, schedules and executes individual student athlete positional workouts.
• Produces and breaks down game film for player development meetings.
• Assists the Director of Operations as needed.
• Assists Head Coaches with duties as assigned.
• Assists coaching staff with recruiting and scouting as it relates to player development when needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 1 year of experience within a collegiate basketball program.
• Experience in sponsorship sales, marketing and/or ticket sales.
• Graphic design experience.
• This position requires working weekends and holidays and attending athletic events as appropriate.

Salary/Salary Range

$20.00 per hour

_Hofstra University provides the above salary* as a good faith estimate of the starting pay range which considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and education.
