Part-Time Assistant Coach/Instructor participates in coaching and instructing student-athletes who are members of the university’s intercollegiate men’s golf program.
● Coach/instruct student-athletes in the men’s golf program.● Evaluate student-athlete skills; create and execute appropriate lessons to develop those skills through hands-on instruction.● Provide regular feedback to students about their athletic performance.● Work collaboratively with the head coach and team support staff to mentor and develop student-athletes on and off the golf course.● Ensure that appropriate safety precautions are taken during training.● Recruiting – on an occasional basis
Ability to participate and/or demonstrate drillsSome travel, nights and weekends related to competition
● Bachelor’s degree● Must have strong interpersonal skills including good oral and written communication abilities● An inclusive and servant approach to leadership
