Player Personnel Coordinator

Position Description

This position coordinates and oversees daily activities associated with the University's high school and junior college scouting processes, as well as providing assistance with college scouting and recruiting operations. The incumbent prepares and maintains the University's prospect and film databases for targeted recruits.

Examples of Work Performed:

• Lead and manage the undergraduate and graduate student interns within the player personnel department
• Assist in the organization and distribution of prospect lists and camp data out for player identification
• Weekly review of film breakdowns performed by interns, complete with feedback notes and corrections needed
• Daily management of the evaluation pipeline, providing updates to Assistant Directors
• Coordinate the exposure and evaluation of high school and junior college prospects
• Assist with full-time coach recruiting travel, providing travel packets and prospect sheets for coaching staff members
• Assist in creation of weekly communication plan documents for coaching staff members

• Assist Assistant Directors of Player Personnel with building and recruiting priority walk-on candidates
• Assist with all recruiting events (official/unofficial visits, junior days and camps)
• Assist with HS Results spreadsheet and oversee weekly execution during the fall
• Any other duties assigned by the Director of Player Personnel

Essential Functions

These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring Department.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.

AND

Experience:
One (1) year of experience related to the above described duties.

An equivalent combination of related experience and education may be considered for this role. Substitutions of the required experience or education will be assessed on a 1:1 substitution basis.
