| Job Summary/Basic Function |
About This Role:
The primary role of the Production Coordinator is to work with a team to produce all ESPN, and Facebook Live productions for Lamar University Athletics and events for Big Red Productions. This includes all aspects of production, including pre-production and postproduction duties. The Production Coordinator must be skilled in troubleshooting technical equipment and have a full understanding of various broadcast technologies, and how they work in conjunction with each other, including replay, graphics, and audio. The Production Coordinator may also supervise and train student staff, and part time employees. Other duties may be assigned.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for long periods. Must be able to lift and move up to 30 lbs.
Job Conditions: Candidate could work in inclement weather, heat and cold.

| Minimum Qualifications |
- Associate’s degree or 3 to 5 years’ experience in a related field.
- Experience in live broadcast production.
- Experience with broadcast logistics.

| Preferred Qualifications |
- Experience with graphics and replay software.
- Knowledge of video switching.
- Knowledge Broadcast related routing.
- Basic engineering skills, including making appropriate cables
