Description
Summary: This position will direct organize supervise and evaluate all aspects of the club sport programs for students. Assist in the organization and supervision of the intramural sport programs for students faculty and staff. Assist with game day operations for NCAA teams and special events that use athletic space. Assist in the development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures.
Duties: Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency.Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintains a high standard of customer service.Performs various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.Assist with training of new hires during monthly in service and scheduling.Performs miscellaneous job related duties as assigned.Prepares and maintains daily lifeguard checklist and member sign in.
Qualifications: Ability to work well and communicate within a team atmosphere. Excellent Communication Skills and Customer Service skills Some Computer Skills Ability to enforce rules and regulations Strong Leader Strong Organizational Skills. Required: CPR/AED certification bachelor's degree
Work Hours:Varied. Schedule to be determined with supervisor.
This is an as-needed basis position.
