Reporting to the Head Coach, the Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach is responsible for the assisting the Head
Coach in the day-to-day administrative and program management of the programs, to include: recruitment,
retention, and skills training, as it relates to the development of a competitive NCAA Division II Women’s
Volleyball program capable of winning CIAA championships and capable of competing for a National
championship. The Assistant Coach is accountable for ensuring the team’s compliance with NCAA and CIAA
rules and regulations and with University policies, procedures and budgetary constraints. The Assistant Coach
will actively assist in fundraising endeavors and committee service as assigned. This is a part time seasonal
position.

Physical Demands
The work environment is an athletic and office setting which requires the ability to travel much of the time, work
long hours including evenings and weekends, be physically active, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and have the
ability to demonstrate specific skills.

Bachelors or better.
Demonstrated ability to coach, teach and mentor student athletes required.
Previous experience as a Volleyball player at the collegiate level preferred.
Coaching experience at the college level is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
