The Quality Control Assistant – Football provides support to the football coaches to enhance the quality and efficiency of day to day operations, and is responsible for assisting with practice and game preparation. The successful candidate must have the ability and knowledge to break down opponent’s offensive, defensive, and/or special teams schemes, create detailed reports, complete daily office tasks, create and maintain practice plans and game plans, and create offensive/defensive/special teams playbooks and game books. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: breakdown of game films; assist with practice planning; work with the coordinators in the off-season to plan, create, and implement offensive/defensive/special teams philosophies for the football team; break down each opponent’s offensive, defensive, and special teams game plan schemes; maintain weekly, seasonal self-scout/quality control documents; and perform other related duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree.
Experience:
A minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience in a collegiate athletics environment and/or professional football environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to excel in a team environment
Must be able to work evenings, holidays and weekends.
Preferences:
One (1) to two (2) years of experience in a collegiate athletics environment preferably at the
NCAA
FBS
level.
Knowledge of
NCAA

BIG
Ten Conference rules is preferred.
