Department of Athletics - Women's Basketball
Responsible for coordinating and directing all recruiting events for Women's Basketball to include developing, organizing, managing extensive recruiting activities for coaches and prospects. The process includes developing a travel calendar and detailed logistics for coaches, recruits, and parents to optimize recruiting activities within NCAA guidelines. Responsible for hotel, car, and plane arrangements on a continuous cycle based on NCAA rules and regulations. Organize and manage all recruiting events such as official visits, recruiting visits and other recruiting events. Coordinate all tailgate activities for home football games. Responsible for preparation and distribution of all required paperwork. Functions as director for Court Side Kids of Seminole Booster Club. Responsible for generating fan interest, soliciting new members, monitoring budget, and making recommendations for future needs.
Responsible for the maintenance of the recruiting database and input/ organization of all prospect information. Established procedures and methodology for maximizing the use of the recruiting database of student-athletes nationwide. Serves as women's basketball graphic designer of all recruiting and promotional materials. Determines most effective methods and timing of communications allowed within NCAA guidelines and is responsible for reports, mailings, e-mails, and letters generated weekly. Responds to inquiries of general interest via telephone, internet, or correspondence regarding recruiting as well as receives, logs, and returns all tapes/DVDs within 2 week turn-around time.
Serves as budget manager overseeing and developing a plan for maximizing the women's basketball recruiting budget. Makes budget recommendations to staff regarding effective recruitment of student-athletes. Strategizes and implements new and creative technology to enhance the recruiting process thru available funding. Researches and optimizes new ideas and concepts to maximize recruiting foundation that is already in place. Coordinates recruiting travel activities with travel agencies to optimize available credits.
Responsible for creating, monitoring, and submitting recruiting logs that adhere to NCAA policies and procedures. Processes compliance reports for NCAA guidelines. Records recruitment evaluations of student-athletes. Assists in logging phone calls and evaluations with compliance on a monthly basis while adhering to NCAA rules and NCAA clearinghouse requirements. Must sit for and pass Annual NCAA Certification Exam administered by NCAA faculty Athletic Representative.

Bachelor's degree and four years experience, or a high school diploma or equivalent and experience equal to eight years. (Note: post-high school education may substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.)
