PURPOSE:
The Residence Hall Director and Assistant Football Coach is a live-in professional staff member who plays a pivotal role in fostering the educational, personal, and social development of students at Lincoln University. Reporting to the Associate Director for Residence Life and Student Development, with a secondary reporting line to the Head Football Coach, this dual-role position combines traditional residence hall management with responsibilities in collegiate athletics.
As a member of the Division of Student Affairs, the Residence Hall Director is responsible for the comprehensive administration of one to two residential communities, including the supervision of 3-12 Resident Assistants (RAs), coordination of developmental programming, promotion of safety and security, and the cultivation of inclusive, vibrant living environments. In their capacity as Assistant Football Coach, the successful candidate will support the Head Coach in all aspects of football operations and contribute to the overall development of student-athletes. This position requires commitment to holistic student development, diversity and inclusion, critical thinking, and proactive problem-solving.
The successful candidate will serve as a key resource for students, collaborate effectively with campus partners, provide crisis response and on-call support, and uphold the University's mission and commitment to holistic student development.
