Bachelor's degree in a related field and four (4) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Position Description:

The University of Louisville Athletic Department is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Seasonal Instructional Coach for the Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Program for the 2025-2026 academic year. The primary focus of this position will be assisting with our Diving program. The Seasonal Instructional Coach for the Men's and Women's Diving Program will provide sport-specific instruction/coaching on an individual and/or team basis. This position may assist coaches and/or athletics personnel with on-campus or local recruiting. The Seasonal Instructional Coach will report to the Head Coach for Men’s and Women’s Swim and Dive or his/her designee. This is a fixed-term salaried position through May 31, 2026, earning $1,200 per month.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide on-deck instruction to student athletes.

• Organize workout data entry for student athletes (e.g., power rack workouts).

• Submit electronic meet entries for college meets and USA Swimming competitions.

• Organize and order equipment for the team.

• Participate in all staff discussions with departmental personnel.

• Assist in identifying prospects/recruits who fit the needs of the program.

• Assist Coaches and/or athletics personnel with on-campus or local recruiting for prospective student athletes, including but not limited to assisting with creating an itinerary for a visit to the University of Louisville, accompanying recruits on campus tours, and attending sporting events or meals with recruits.

• Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach Men’s and Women’s Swim and Dive, or his/her designee.

Additional Qualifications:

• CPR/AED Certification.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, ARMS database, meet submission databases, and internet.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior work experience within a collegiate, club, or professional sports setting.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
