Responsible for providing strategic leadership for all financial and business operations of Dartmouth College Athletics and Recreation Department (
DCARD
). This position is responsible for providing oversight of financial operations, budgetary planning and fiscal management to support the mission and goals of
DCARD
. Provides guidance on resource allocation to support departmental and divisional priorities; collaborates with senior level administrators within
DCARD
and across the institution to achieve financial and budgetary objectives. This role requires a seasoned financial executive with expertise in athletics administration, financial management, financial report, and compliance, as well as strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. This position will serve on DCARD’s Leadership Team.
Dartmouth Athletics and Recreation Department (
DCARD
) is looking for a
CFO
to lead their financial and business operations. Position oversees budgeting, financial management, and reporting. This role serves on DCARD’s leadership team to support the department’s goals. Ideal candidate will have 8+ years of financial management experience. Bachelors or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Bachelor’s Degree in business or finance
8-10 years of experience in a position with budgetary responsibility
Strong leadership, planning, organization and financial management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong negotiation skills
Expertise in financial management and financial analysis and business planning.
Familiarity with human resources issues, practices and administration.
Excellent computer skills – strong Excel, database and financial systems experience
Commitment to diversity and to meeting the needs of a diverse population.
Master’s Degree
