This individual is a champion for our employees! This position provides support to the Assistant Athletics Director of the Athletics of Employee Administration unit in support of key employment services functions for Department of Athletics’ administrators, coaches and staff.
Includes functions for the employment life cycle – position posting, interviews, new hire onboarding, offboarding, recognition, and staff development.
Management and execution of onboarding and exit processes for administrators, coaches, staff, student workers, student managers, temp/on-calls, affiliates and interns of the Athletics Department.
Recommends changes and best practices for these processes.
Oversight and maintain key athletics departmental resources such as organizational charts, department staff lists; listservs and staff directory on fightingirish.com.
Support athletics business office in maintenance of gift cards program and processing additional payment for services as needed.
Oversight of HR and payroll functions entry of positions, separations and back-up for Ultra-time.
Serves as a member of the Athletics Culture Curators and actively participates in meetings and execution of events such as the department golf outing, holiday party, and more.
Represents the athletics Employee Administration unit by working closely with key athletics department staff and campus constituents such as the office of human resources, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, payroll and budget teams.
