POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for a Senior Director or Director to lead the strategic vision and planning of the in-venue entertainment experience for Florida Football, Men’s Basketball and Baseball. This role will develop and deliver a best-in-class fan experience ensuring every element of the production aligns with the Florida brand, enhances fan engagement, supports revenue initiatives, and creates memorable moments for Gator Nation. This position is responsible for end-to-end production leadership, including scripting, creative storytelling, show flow management, technology integration, vendor oversight, talent coordination, operational planning, and execution of live game presentation elements across stadium platforms, videoboards, and entertainment. This position requires the incumbent to have a strong understanding of videoboard production, in-venue entertainment, sponsorship activation, and fan engagement strategies; have strong administrative, interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and customer service skills; be organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated; have strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across departments; work independently and as part of a collaborative team; multitask effectively and manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders in a high-pressure environment; engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds; and work a non-standard work week which will include nights, weekends, holidays, and extensive event schedules. MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, Business, or a related field Four years of experience in sports, live entertainment, collegiate or professional athletics, or a related event production environment One year of supervisory experience Experience managing live event presentation, production, or entertainment operations Experience writing scripts and developing event content Valid driver’s license Preferred Qualifications: Five years of experience in sports, live entertainment, collegiate or professional athletics, or a related event production environment Two years of supervisory experience Experience in a Division I intercollegiate athletic environment Experience with football and basketball game presentation at a high-profile institution or professional sports organization Experience managing large-scale productions with multiple creative and operational teams Knowledgeable of current sports entertainment trends and fan engagement strategies
