Definition of Class
This position works directly with the Head Coach on a wide variety of administrative and operational duties. The incumbent plans, directs and implements administrative functions; develops and maintains confidential reports, executive summaries, and correspondence; and serves as a liaison with administration, staff, student-athletes, and other stakeholders.

• Works with staff, Athletics senior leadership, and student-athletes to conduct research on behalf of the Head Coach.

• Provides confidential briefings on upcoming meetings and develops confidential reports and executive summaries.
• Responds to routine inquiries as delegated by the Head Coach.
• Manages Head Coach's incoming and outgoing communications via email, interoffice memoranda, and USPS (if applicable).
• Coordinates and attends meetings with various constituent groups as deemed appropriate by the Head Coach.
• Coordinates and hosts activities for the Head Coach and athletic program, in conjunction with other university offices.
• Travels with the Head Coach and members of the coaching staff to assist in logistics, scheduling, transportation, and other duties as assigned, as needed.
• Manages staff meetings, develops agendas, plans and establishes meeting schedule, maintains meeting minutes; triages and distributes external communications to pertinent audiences.
• Coordinates and hosts activities for the office in conjunction with other university departments.
• Gathers, investigates, researches and analyzes information affecting program operations.
• Develops and implements operational policies and procedures for the office.
• Provides operational support and oversight of logistics and budget management for the office.
• Responds to routine inquiries as delegated by the Head Coach.
• Provides supervision and guidance to administrative support staff.
• Performs similar or related duties as assigned or required.
Essential Functions
These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring department.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree, in a related field, from an accredited college or university.
AND
Experience:
Three (3) years of experience related to the above described duties.
An equivalent combination of related experience and education may be considered for this role. Substitutions of the required experience or education will be assessed on a 1:1 substitution basis.
