Job Summary/Basic Functions

The University of Mary Washington, an NCAA Division III institution located in historic and vibrant Fredericksburg, VA, is seeking a Sports Broadcaster. This position is a part-time, hourly position with responsibilities that include, but not limited to, supporting UMW Athletics game day operations by providing play by play commentary for the team sport competitions during the fall, winter and spring seasons.

Required KSAs/Competencies/Qualifications

This position is expected to assist Asst AD for Communications with game day operations specific to broadcasting and play by play commentary for team sport competitions during fall, winter and spring seasons.

Required Experience:

Experience in any of the following areas:
coach, student assistant, student-athlete, or sports commentator.

Additional Considerations:

• 2-3 years of prior experience as student assistant, student-athlete, or sports commentator.
