The Ursuline College Athletic Department seeks applicants for a Sports Information Coordinator. This part-time position will be responsible for assisting in the coverage and media presence of the Arrows 16 athletic programs. Starting in fall 2025, this is a ten-month position, reporting to the Assistant Athletic Director of Communications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains Ursuline Arrows Athletics website through Sidearm Sports.
Produce printed materials, including writing and editing press releases, feature stories and game day information.
Serves as game-day statistician. Compile and maintain statistical records for all sports.
Assists in organizing the setup and coverage of all home athletic events.
Assists in supervising game-day student workers and all game-day staff.
Assists with coordination of all communication functions of the College’s intercollegiate sports programs.
Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director of Communications.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in sports management, business, physical education or related field preferred.
Knowledge of intercollegiate athletics, rules and regulations of athletic associations and conferences.
Preferred experience with athletics stat keeping.
Demonstrated knowledge of social media applications including Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
Possess excellent interpersonal communication and organization skills; computer skills; verbal/written communication skills; and demonstrated ability to work in an inclusive community.
Must be available to work evenings and weekends, possess a valid driver’s license to travel for competition.
