Sports Information Director is responsible for professional tasks related to the planning, management, organization, and operation of sports information & media relations. Works as a memeber of the Athletics Administrative team and is responsible for promotion of USCB Athletics through game previews, game updates, and interest pieces through the use of written media, graphics, videos, and social accounts. Also responsible for coordination of game day logistics and supervision of student workers performing game date duties.

Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Manages and oversees all of the game statistical records and results, including statistical submissions in accordance with conference and NCAA and Peach Belt requirements. Responsible for all media releases to the Athletic Conference, media, and social networks. Trains and supervises game day personnel responsible for statistical, video, and public address operations.
