Terms of Employment: Regular, full-time 12-month position, with University benefit package. Located in the Alva NWOSU Department of Athletics. Position open until filled.
Duties and Responsibilities: In charge of strength and conditioning activities of all Northwestern Athletics programs by providing expert instruction in the uses of weight machines and conditioning equipment while being able to tailor workouts to the specific needs of each program or individual student-athlete. Responsible for compliance with policies and procedures of Northwestern, the GAC, NCAA and other regulatory agencies.
Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s or higher preferred in strength training, physical education, kinesiology or related field
Experience playing or coaching in sports performance and/or athletics
Professional certification in the field of Strength and Conditioning preferred
Understanding of NCAA rules compliance
Strong leadership and communication skills
Must be certified in First Aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
