Under the general direction of the Department of Athletics, Saint Louis University is seeking a full-time Sports Performance intern that will assist in the day-to-day operations of the Sports Performance Department including but not limited to administrative duties, facility upkeep, program design, and program implementation.
Job Responsibilities:
● Assist with the design, development and implementation of Sport Performance programs for assigned intercollegiate athletic sport teams.
● Assist with performance testing of student-athletes.
● Required to keep accurate and up-to-date records.
● Assist with cleaning, maintaining and organizing the weight room facility.
● Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
● Proven ability to work independently, prioritize, and complete tasks in a timely manner.
● Excellent communication skills required for working with diverse groups.
● Strong written communication skills; excellent organizational skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
● Demonstrated appreciation for diversity and inclusion.

Minimum Qualifications –An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. (Additional requirements may be designated by position.)
● Bachelor’s degree required; one year of experience preferred.
● CSCCA or CSCS certified.
● CPR and AED certification.
