Job Description:

Provide leadership for athletic academic services, tutorial services, and study tables; oversee academic progress of student-athletes and monitor NCAA eligibility requirements and progress toward graduation. Provide support to SASS staff as needed, maintain consistent and open communication with coaches and staff; coordinate tracking and reporting system for student-athletes and team GPA information. Maintain thorough understanding and compliance with NCAA and MAC guidelines and regulations. For a successful candidate, this position may provide supervision to a sport designated by the Director of Athletics including assistance related to budget, game operations, scheduling and student athlete welfare and annual evaluation of head coach.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree required
• 5 years of experience in college student personnel, athletic academic advising, or athletic administration
• Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience.
• Experience working with NCAA eligibility and academic requirements preferred.
