Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three years of experience in Division 1 or Professional basketball setting.
Preferred Experience:
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of word processing and basic spread sheet applications.
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to use word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
Interpersonal and communication skills and ability to plan and organize effectively.
Responsibilities
RECRUITING OPERATIONS: Assists with coordinating all recruiting efforts (game days activities, official visits and unofficial visits, and other Men's Basketball recruiting events). Assists with the documentation of all forms related to Men's Basketball recruiting.
FILM/EVALUATION PROCESS: Maintains up-to-date prospective student-athlete profiles and film profiles on behalf of assigned assistant coach(s). Serves as a liaison between assigned assistant coach(s) and video staff, providing specific video information and statistics as requested. Provides computer break down of video for prospective student-athlete. Organizes and distributes all video. Maintains up-to-date recruiting board on behalf of assigned assistant coach(s).
CAMP/CLINIC: Assists the Men's Basketball Camp Director with camp logistics.
COMPLIANCE: Maintains continual and thorough familiarity with all applicable NCAA, Conference, and University rules and regulations. Establishes and ensures communication and enforcement of rules and regulations concerning student-athlete: conduct, appearance, road games, punctuality, and other areas as deemed appropriate. Maintains awareness of and supports the employee engagement initiatives of the Athletics Department.
OTHER DUTIES: Performs other duties as assigned.
