- Advance the overall mission of WMU Athletics preparing WMU student athletes for lifelong success through student development.

| | Major Duties |
- Prepares and teaches seminars on life-skills topics. - Provides academic support services. - Develop learning initiatives programs. - Responsibility for service-learning student-athlete development and oversees community service outreach events. - Coordinates marketing initiatives. - Develops, implements, and facilitates personal and professional development programming. - Coordinates with business office and head coach on budget and business operations. - Assists with recruiting and teaching student athletes the skills of soccer and team building. - Mentors student athletes. - Identifies, evaluates, scouts, recruits, and interviews prospective student athletes. - Prepares players for games and season to attain maximum athletic performance and to successfully compete. - Maintains strict compliance with NCAA, Mid-American Conference and University rules and regulations governing the sport and intercollegiate athletic competition. - Travels throughout the U.S. for games, recruitment, and team activities.

| | Minimum Qualifications |
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sport management, health care management, medical case management or related field. - One year of experience as a NCAA Soccer Coach.
